Homemade raw vegan yogurt
Ingredients
1 cup macadamia nuts or cashew nuts soaked for 2 hours
1 cup of water
1 tablespoon lime juice
Preparation
Blend the nuts with half the water for 20 seconds
Slowly add the rest of the water while blending.
Transfer the mixture to a clean glass jar, cover with plastic wrap and secure with a rubber band.
Allow to ferment for 24 hours (the longer the time, the more it ferments). Add lemon juice if you wish to use it and refrigerate.
When consuming, you can add fresh fruit, nuts and a sweetener such as stevia or yacon.
