115 grams of tomato juice (organic if possible)
1 tablespoon of vegetable broth
a splash of lemon juice
2 drops Tabasco hot sauce (or to taste)
A pinch of sea salt
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
1 pinch of black pepper
a stick of celery either inside the mixture or to enjoy with the drink
This recipe is very simple since when you mix the tomato juice with the lemon juice, the other ingredients only enhance its flavor.
It can be made spicy or mild, depending on taste and as the other components are added.
The good thing about the Virgin Bloody Mary is that you can drink it at any time of the day, whether it's for breakfast, brunch (when breakfast and lunch are combined), or to cure a hangover, or a hangover as they call it in different places.
Health Benefits of Bloody Mary
Its main ingredient is precisely why this drink is consumed. The tomato juice used for the traditional cocktail includes many concentrated nutrients, including lycopene, which is very beneficial for the heart. It helps remove clots caused by plaque in the arteries, as well as control other heart ailments.
We also find vitamin C in tomato juice, many people do not know how much vitamin C is present in tomatoes and since the tomato juice used for the Bloody Mary includes all the water from the tomato, you are getting all the vitamin C that the tomato has to offer.
Tomato juice is already healthy on its own, but even more so if you add a celery stick, either raw or mashed.
Adding pepper and chili to the drink will activate the metabolism, restore body temperature and balance its energy to resume activities.
You can add a splash of lemon juice at the end to give it a fresh feeling.
